Spiroplam 6MWT is the new medical device
designed by COSMED incorporating
the latest design for portable spirometer
and a unique tool for the standardized
“Six-Minute Walking Test“ (6MWT).
Spiroplam 6MWT is a simple and reliable
equipment for monitoring ventilation,
oxygen saturation and heart rate
during walking, providing value-added
clinical information of functional capacity
during routine follow-up.
With limited investment, Spiropalm
6MWT performs an integrated evaluation
of the cardiovascular, respiratory
and muscular adaptation during walking
(and also during other exercise
performances).
As soon as test is performed, results are
either available for immediate printing
by USB port or transferred to the PC
software.
Spiropalm 6MWT fully complies with
all requirements from the “ATS/ERS
Guidelines for the Six-Minute Walking
Test” (2002).
