Improving NASCAR pit crew performance with Quark CPET and BOD POD
The two 7-men NASCAR teams participated to the testing sessions at the Research Campus in Kannapolis at the Appalachian State University's Human Performance Lab, directed by Dr. David Nieman.
They measured their pulmonary efficiency on a treadmill with COSMED Quark CPET and sat in COSMED Bod Pod to determine their body composition. They will return every three to four months to determine if they have met benchmarks that have been set based on test results.
