Suitability of Quark RMR indirect calorimeter to be used with mechanically ventilated patients
The conclusions show that "the metabolic monitor appears not to be sensitive to the presence of bias flow on act recognition and measurement of expiratory volume; it also shows accurate measurements of FiO2. This agreement guarantees the reliability of the monitor’s measurements when it is coupled with a mechanical ventilator."
